So after some research I decided it would be a good idea to give double red blood cells to help keep the RBC and hemocrit down. Not that they were out of range. last bloods they were apx 80% of the allowed range. I was doing a 6 week prop only blast of which I had to stop a week early because of an injury that's kept me out a couple weeks. Still cruising on 105mg of sust wk as I have been for a year or so. The sust has my total T levels at 1400. So its a little high. But everything else is within range blood work wise.
The red cross told me I couldn't give double red because my iron was so high they couldn't measure it. I took that with a grain of salt because they were having a lot of problems with their equipment that day. Listened to the nurses bitch the whole time. So I gave whole blood. It took them 6 tries to even get my temperature. So....quality gear they had there.
My doc said she wouldn't put a lot of faith in their test but we will check it next bloods in a month.
I said the only thing going on is the test blast then cruising.
She said then its the only factor most likely in high iron levels.
Do you guys agree?
I keep all my past bloods in a file and didn't realize iron isn't part of a normal test. So theres no records of it. I don't eat much red meat either. 1-2 shakes a day and cruising are the only things I do.
anyone else have any thoughts?
