About the "recalling" things easier, I feel familiar with. I mean when it's about dreams. I usually don't remember my dreams, and I know a dream a lot, I just can't remember them fully. Now, on test, I can recall my dreams with the tiniest details. Dunno if that is relevant or not but I thought I'd share it.
Wow, this thread has really taken a wrong turn hasn't it. I don't know why everyone says there is so much drama on EF. (my eye rolling smilies aren't working, but that's what I'm doing)
To the thread starter, it is a very good thread. Something that should definitely be looked into more by all of us. Personally, I've never really noticed a difference. My cycles are usually pretty mild and very far apart though.
The brakes, U need to lighten up a bit. Ur boy was just kidding around.

Now that you mention it, I do remember more of my dreams. Don't know if it's actually test related, but, the test helps me with other things that may help with the sleep.

I'm glad somebody said something. I'm not opposed to inserting a joke here and there, but damn, only a few didn't.
Absolutely, this is a subject that definately deserves some serious attention. I wanna look good, but I'm not willing to sacrifice my brain in the process. Priorities, ya know?
It's probably going to be difficult to find any detailed information on this subject when considering the complex nature of the subject matter.
IL-15 is a cytokine....a cell signaler like the other IL or interferons.
This one is secreted by macrophages and enhances the production of T cytotoxic (CD8) cells and natural killer cells.
Even if it doesn't affect the limbic system, the idea that AAS could affect one's ability to learn and recall memory is a question I believe deserves attention.
Its interesting thst several have posted a possible increase in memeory funtion on AAS. I have noticed the same, and it is quite pronounced given I am in my late 40's.

I'm not sure, in my case, if it's strictly an increase in memory, or overall brain function. Due to anecdotal evidence from friends, that's what inspired me to get checked & go on HRT.

God knows I don't have near the anatomy and physiology knowledge that some here do, which is why I'm calling on all of them for their expertise.
This is my concern. I know all about thinking more quickly and recalling memory more easily and with more detail while on. I've experience this myself. I've experience the inflated sense of well being and confidence. But, what about how it could possibly result in one toping out in their cognitive ability sooner?
Take this as an analogy. Suppose you're rebuilding a muscle car and you can't decide between setting it with great acceleration or high top end speed. You can't have both. If your car has great acceleration and you top out in speed sooner. If you have high top end speed, you don't accelerate as quick.
Now, think of you cognitive ability before AAS as that car before you decide on acceleration or top end speed. Take AAS and you can think quickly and easily (acceleration), but you're ability to grasp high level concepts and theories may diminsh. Stay off AAS, and you don't think quite as quick as you would have, but it's still fast enough and you maintain that ability to comprehend highly complex thought (high top end speed).
I know this may seem a bit irrelevant, but anything I put in my body that could change it temporarily or permanently is something that I want to completely understand. Know what I mean?
Not sure if it was just coincidence but before I tried test (two week cycle of test cyp) I was an an architect and in my spare time I developed complicated fuel management systems for the space shuttle. Since ending my two week cycle, I have started to regress into a pre-evolved ape like creature and the ability to maintain even the simplest thought is now beyond my relm of comprehension.
