AAS and the human brain

I read something today referring to the affect of AAS on the brain. It part, it spoke of the affect it has on mood, something of which I care very little about. However, it did also make mention of AASs affect on the limbic system of the brain, which is the portion of the brain, in large part, responsible for learning and memory. That being said, is there a significant affect that AAS has on the brain that would serve as a detriment to one's ability to learn and recall memory? Any thoughts?

In my experience, test actually seems to help me focus, concentrate, recall things better. Not sure about any others...

Not sure if it was just coincidence but before I tried test (two week cycle of test cyp) I was an an architect and in my spare time I developed complicated fuel management systems for the space shuttle. Since ending my two week cycle, I have started to regress into a pre-evolved ape like creature and the ability to maintain even the simplest thought is now beyond my relm of comprehension.

I know that it has a effect on the Central Nervous system. So I would say "yes". But don't know for sure. Hopefully others will chime in to give a more definitive answer than mine. ;)

there has been many studies done on the elderly in this area..of course when you give them an extra nutritional supplement like Ensure, and other nutrition shakes they have an increase in all areas of functioning as well.

indeed. you have regressed so far that you can't even determine the appropriate time for sarcasm or when a question deserves well thought out answers....here's a banana. yum, banana.

anyway, check out interleukin-15 aka IL-15. it's a chemical involved with memory and learning that is reduced a great deal when we are sick and fighting the flu or other virus. i have a theory that it plays a role when we are growing very quickly and our bodies are working extra hard, except in this instance, it's on gaining muscle and not expelling infected cells (or whatever it is that's so hard about viruses)

It's called a sense of humour. Lighten up.
Anyways, for me I have noticed an ability to concentrate better when on, if all other aspects are in line also, like sleep & diet.

Since your still able to type a detailed albeit sarcastic response on this board, id say your doing ok!
