AAS and heart beat

krishna

New member
Do any of you guys ever get an irregular palpitation that seems kind of heavy and sharp from time to time? It's hard to explain....it's just like a hard thud sometimes, and it's only one beat when it happens.

Krishna - I've noticed day after AAS injection (Sus) and if I've had higher level sodium meal in the evening in an otherwise very clean diet. Not sure of correlation. I only seem to notice while on my way to sleep..

I dont tend to have trouble with my heart beat but that is nothing to mess with if it continues get it checked out

Kind of like the heart pauses a second then beats heavy to catch up a beat? Yeah I have that. I saw my cardio about it and he said electrical irregularities are to blame. Nothing to worry about at my age (32). In my case, just keep an eye on it.

Scared me for a while though I'll admit.

I have it from time to time i seems a deep breath helps.
this has been doing it even before gear, its a strange feeling for a few secs that for sure.
I had a cardiogram done totally unrelated to my heart (another problem) they said everything was fine.
The nurse must had hooked up a total of 12 sensors, i replied "and what movie are we gonna do again?Frankenstein 2?"

I've had exactly the same problem before. With a family history of heart problems, I was afraid at the time. However, after a year of rest from cutting diets, cardio, AS and 2x/d training, everything went back to normal. I fathom I was putting too much pressure on my body at the time.

i have been recently diagnosed with premature atrial contractions or pac's. they are the same that you are all experiencing but last much longer. mine have been happening more times than not in the last 2 months. i went to the er, they did an ekg and everything was fine. i am going to the cardiologist on tuesday just to be 100% sure. went to my family doc and had a bp of 110/70. nothing to worry about he says too. i was suposed to start my 1st cycel in january but held off to see what the heart doc has to say. everything i've read about it, nothing to worry about. just a side note, mine started some time ago in my teens as just 1 beat like you are saying, just recently it's begun doing it all day with maybe a day's rest only to pick it up again the next day. rather bothersome and worrisome. i will post after the doc see's me this week.

I have a problem similar to what some of you are describing.....but in addition to the heavy heart beat I get one or two sharp pains that go along with it. In total it probably lasts about 2 seconds max and doesn't happen that much. I had an EKG and a stress test done (the one where they hook you up to sensors and you run on the treadmill) and the doc said he couldn't find anything wrong and not to worry about it.

It actually seems like it happens less and less these days. I think part of the problem was that I was worrying too much about it.......and after being cleared by the doc it really took a load off my mind and I'm not concerned about it any more.

All very helpful responses. It appears that this is more common than not. It doesn't seem to be much to worry about at this point then, seeing how I'm 27.

Yes ... and sometimes something that is like a "flutter".

Right now my entire body seems to be steady pulsing even though
BP is 115/65.

Today was HRT morning day ... and a bit too much coffee with breakfast. :coffee:
That explains a lot.

It passes ... don't worry.

::thud:: :worried:

good info here. I get some strange beats when on. Kind of like palpatations, its weird. Had EKG once and they said all was OK

I'm willing to stick my neck out and say, I got the same thing, but only after using Ephedrine. I used it at a safe dose, and only for a week with caffiene. Again, I only get this occasionally - like once a day/every two days.

jp000 and gettinripped you guys are scaring me. I've posted about this before and I'll say it again. ONE EKG DOESN'T MEAN SHIT. It's a 10 second snapshot of your heartbeat. That's it. If you're REALLY concerned push your Doctor to give you an echo, stress, and holter. Nothing pisses me off more than a Doc doin 1 ekg for his $36 insurance reimbursement and calling it a day.

TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN YOUR HEALTH!!! :)

I get that too sometimes. It happened before as also. On a couple of my physicals I've had to get a second doc to come in and test my heart because they thought it was an irregular heartbeat, but it ended up being fine.

I've had that same thing for years and had a stress test done several years back. I was not in very good shape at the time and everything still looked OK (except for my tired sorry ass after the test!).

I do notice it is more pronounced feeling when on aas.

I've had that skip a beat feeling since I was a kid..... Never knew what it was from, never thought twice about it till I was older..... My Doc told me the same thing about electrical impulses blah blah blah, so I never worried about it...... I get it whether I'm on gear or not, don't see an increase....
