everyone's a little different in regards to cycle preferences. for your foundation just run an anti-a with your testosterone. only take enough anti-a to keep the estrogen bloat off and BP normalized. add primo or eq to your liking. your cholesterol will not be helped but it won't be trashed like when you run oral AAs. i also like proviron but that would negatively affect your lipids, probably not as bad as a 17aa, but worse than injectables. however you could run a lower dose of T and anti-a's if you included proviron. also HGH can always spice up a longer cycle. i don't really like the word cycle as when i run i plan to stay on until i need a break. that usually takes at least 6-8 months. i know to avoid things that will fuck me up namely progestins. my new policy in regards to orals is only for cutting during 6-12 week runs. that way at least when my lipids are being trashed i know i will be eating a very clean diet. i figure that evens things out some.
when it comes to lipids i think not to worry much, if you keep blood pressure down, and are smart with your supplements. the combination of high lipids and high blood pressure is very bad. but you should also remember atherosclerosis is an inflammatory process. in general i believe most steroids are considered anti-inflammatory, although that probably varies with drug and dose. keep your inflammation down with a clean diet and great supplements like sesapure, fish oil, garlic, and red yeast rice. since you are probably already on a statin the red yeast rice is redundant. another under-rated supplement that is very good for HTN and lipid levels is magnesium
one other thing. most disease processes as you age are accelerated due to high blood sugar. the sponges in your body that soak up excess blood sugar are your liver and your muscles. your muscles are a better sponge cause they convert sugars to glycogen. the liver will do this too but if it sees too much sugar it starts converting it into lipids - tiglycerides, etc. now some say that AAS makes you more insulin resistant however as you age I believe AAS are powerful agents to help ward off type 2 DM. because the main trigger for sugar uptake is exercise. and larger muscles will have greater exercise capacity and greater sugar uptake as a result, when they are depleted after exercise. bottom line used properly, with diet and exercise, AAS can be very helpful to your conditions.
