I have been doing that stand up calve machine shrug for the past 2 months that you suggested, and my traps are getting jacked !!!

they owe you :)

Another thing I suggest is taking one of those EZ bar attachments that hook on cable machines for pushdowns, curls, etc... And walk over to the Hammer strength shrug machine. Hook the bar UNDER the two handles of the shrug machine and grip the EZ bar in the inside grips where your hands are very close together. You will have to bend over slightly in order to hoist the weight up with the handles of the machine supported by the EZ bar, but that is the point. A narrow grip with a slight bend allows you to hit the mid trap area right between the shoulder blades in a way conventional shrugs don't. You can slap some meat on in that area quickly doing these too.

Yeah but doing it my way won't ruin your nails. That's important in my book.

Last time I talked about traps to you, you said you didn't want to build them up because then your ankles slid off them too easy.

But yet you expect me to put a 2 inch 18g in mine. :mad: :mad:

i do power shrugs and they helped me alot...

but 3 times a week? is doing it 1 day a week not effective enough
