he just turned 17 the other day.
it wasn't raining when he left, but he's so excited about it that he wanted to go to his friend's house. He's at the one that lives closest to us. same town, other side of the mountain.

Thats a good mom let him roll right in good car and with a lil game in play he'll be bangin up every broad 16 and up in that back seat like he should.

i'm his mom, not his buddy.
but i am that too and he knows it.
i have the most well adjusted kids I know. typical, popular, funny, sarcastic (i don't know where they get that from), but also kind and thoughful.
they know i worry like mad, so they keep me updated and humor me by driving slow and staying in when I ask.
i'm so proud of them i can't even express it and on top of that, we have FUN together. it's so awesome.
