Sorry bro, that sucks... My mom did that after my parents divorced, she had my dads great dane put to sleep. He was old and had problems going down stairs (not fun trying to carry a 200lb dog down stairs). My dad flipped out on her, suprised she is still alive.

I have two dogs from a past relationship and faught tooth and nail to keep them cause she wanted to seperate the two. Was not going to happen, it was like breaking up a brother, sister combo. Now I have two dogs which combined weigh 20lbs.

Wow, this is hard times as summer was fun with her. I wish I could show her to U all, you would laugh but the eye's would just make you melt. She (wife) and I are separated. She is as devestated as I. We talk everyday. But my wife is very ill, and some days can't walk without a cane. Since me and wife didn't have children of our own we had dogs as kids. And our dogs were treated like we would treat our kids.

I had a restraining order against me and the cops had her (wife again) so scared that I was a major problem that she stayed far away from me, which in itself was hard. The dog pound in a certain county here in my state just puts them down the day they get them. I understand...... and I am partly to blame, which makes me kinda sad, and empty now. I think we are just going to take a few days and go camping close to wife's present residence as she might need to go home some of the time.

I just hope to God this never happens to you, or anyone you know, who took their pet like we did ours.
