A Tribute to Chris

damn man.:( i hate when this kinda shit happens. i can't even imagine what it is like to be blind but to also compete is very brave. this guy deserves respect in the deepest sence of the word. very sad. i will never forget ya brother!!

the world is a darker place without him.
he's in a much better place now.

He truely was an inspiration to those that knew him, especially those that trained around him. He took a deficit that would stop any of us from working out at all, and turned it into a strength

You know, every day that Chris would come to the store, practice his routine and his posing, when he left after our hour or hour and a half sesssion, it was like I felt like I could do anything! There was nothing that could bother me. He inspired me to be the best trainer/fitness coach that I could be. He made me realize how much I really love what I do for a living. Teaching the mandatories poses to him was a challenge but he never got frustrated, he just kept trying and eventually he got them and he got them good! Even though I was teaching him, he taught me a great deal as well. He gave me back my passion for the business. Never in my life, have I seen anyone work that hard to get up on stage. It was something that he truly wanted to do and I'm honoured that Chris wanted me to be a part of it.
For whatever reason there is for what happened, I hope you are in a happier place. I will never, ever forget you.

my thoughts and prayers are with you all, his family, and him. In a situation like this, you never know what was going through his mind... its very sad. :(

he was a good guy to say the least, very positive and upbeat. its very sad what happened and depressing to know that something could change a man like that and make him take his life. may he rest in peace and look down on all of his fellow iron brothers and give us inspiration. rest in peace big man

Judging by what you guys have said, and what Chris has done in his lifetime, I think it would have made me a better person had I gotten a chance to meet him. God bless you all for being so supportive of him.
