this guy I met a couple wks ago just called me for a "date" & wants to meet up @ my gym to train. Hes not exactly bodybuilder/ lifter type... but I said ok anyway. My problem is should I do my normal routine- which might freak him out (most chicks dont squat 200) or let him decide??? & if he starts using the Smith machine or cable curls- should I keep my big mouth shut?? LOL

thanks guys :)

Ms. BH, do it your way. If he gets freaked out by you doing 200lb squats, then he isn't for you anyway, training or otherwise.

I'd much rather date somebody that trains heavy, than somebody that goes light because they don't want to "muscle up".

yeah.. but I dont think regular guys are used to women training hardcore & I was thinkg it might freak him out that I know (probably) more than he does about lifting.

And while you're at it. Slap on a 315 on the flat bench and tell him you don't need a spot. Then watch his eyes.

Thats good. After you finish repping it say 'who needs a regular menstrual cycle when you can have that instead'.

regular guys aren't, but this is who you are, why be someone you aren't, that wouldn't do you or him any good. Let him see you for you, if he doesn't appreciate you, then he isn't worth it.

I hate those dumb bitches! I hear it all the time, and it pisses me off. Guys work so hard in order to gain muscle, and they have a shitload of testosterone on their side and still find it hard to make gains...and these whores are worried about getting too bulky?! Don't they know how good a tight muscular body looks? They're too concerned with the number on the scale to see that being skinny doesn't always look good. :mix:

Mrs. BH...train hard or don't train at all! If he's scared, kick his ass.

Let him choose the workout if he's a keeper; you choose if you want to scare him off. Personally, I think he's just lookin for an excuse to shower with you.
(if it works let me know, then i'll do legs with ya)

I went on a training date once. The chick was a total aerobics/cardio bunny and I let her lead the course since we were at her gym. She fucking kicked my ass, I just couldn't kee pup with all the shit whe was doing, so after a while I just told her I'd be back and went to the free weights rooms. I caught up with her later where she continued ot kick my ass.

Then we went back to my place and impressed her by cooking an awesome lunch.

lol... great date :) Im really NOT trying to kick his ass or embarrass him, but I do like lifts that are more challengeing (clean & jerks, push-presses) than the average gym bunny :) & most guys stick w/the basics (machines, cable..etc)

hopefully he cooks :verygood:

Then I suggest asking him if his life insurance policy is up to date if you propose the exercises to him you just stated.

Hey if you go for more than one date he is going to see your normal training anyway so you might as well show him up front. That way you don't freak him out later on. That's why I act the same all the time so there are no sudden suprises for people around me.

If he can't hang with who you are, why would you want to waste your time?

be yourself.... honeslt....that is who you are... and now i kind of want to train with you myself... not on a date... just be neat to see a girl who works hard for a change. I go to a very fluff gym.

hahaha... I DONT do leg exts.

actually it will be pretty neat having a guy to load & unload plates for me :)

Wow, before the date and he has already been designated your "weight bitch". You work fast, nicely done.

Cheers,

The only time I want help with weights is for doing heavy leg presses. 9 plates a side is a lot of juggling to do. Most of the time I have to steel them from the squat racks.

For some reason...I don't see you dating a "regular guy" either.
