A Selfish Plea

I have posted on the chat board a post titled a sad day for new york firefighters. my intention is to get as amny posts as possible and send it to my brothers who are in the NYFD and my dad who served for over 30 years. if i may be selfish would ya'll be kind enough to post? thanks so much. this will be posted in there firehouse to show our concern and thoughts for them in this tragic time

Was in NYC this weekend, 95 and broadway west side Manhattan. Took subway and went to Tribeca.....when I heading back there was a firefighter on board....had shirt on.....I felt that I needed to personally thank him......he started to cry.....It will be a moment that I will never forget!

I dont consider it a selfish plea to ask fellow americans & all others to thank the NYFD & NYPD for risking their lives and saving other lives. I would imagine it takes great courage to be at ground zero since day one of the attack and risking it all for the american spirit.

God bless all that have been apart of the rescue & recovery efforts in NYC, PA & Washington. Thank you all for everything!!!
