But seriously, Db is right, Dev gave us that thread for the weekend. You really had no right locking it up.
Once again, I'm trying to be respectful, you know I respect you as a mod and I think you are a good guy, I just believe you over stepped your bounds on this one.
alright people, i did give you a thread where you do ANYTHING you wanted to in it. ANYTHING, not just ONE THING. you could have chatted, post whored, gave karma, bashed george, lestat, eig, dev, whatever. but it turned into a karma ONLY thread. honestly if i was Radar at the time, i would have locked the thing up myself also. karma is fun, we know, but there should be more to CHAT & CONVERSATION then just turning a thread into a karma thread
it is admins request to keep k threads off the boards. i agree with this, partly because i have to, and partly because a bunch of posts saying "IN" gets rediculously lame. there used to be k threads when k came out. then there was "underground" secret k threads. then there were just a good group of people who traded k hits amongst themselves. that's evolution and if people like/want karma, that's how it should be done. don't revert back to the beginning becuz that shit gets LOCKED, end of story
i comend Radar on doing a Fantastic! job of moderating. all of you who gave him shit should be ashamed of yourselves. Radar is one of the best, if not THE BEST, mods we have here. trust his judgement, he knows what he's doing
and for anyone who says, "but you said we could do whatever blah blah blah" i did say that, but i never said this is ONLY a Karma thread. that's not what it was intended for. it was supposed to be a combination of all the best threads we often have, such as hows your day, roll call, good bros/bad bros, whatever type thing and if you want to hit every single person in that thread with green, you could do that. but don't rape something that wasn't intended for that
