A.R.T. Therapy

SC1

New member
I wondered if anyone here has had success with A.R.T. to relieve shoulder pain. I'm having it done right now for my left rotator. I feel some relief but I wonder if I should increase the frequency of the sessions or stop doing pressing movements (I'm basically fighting through the pain). I've had it done twice now.

Any info or success stories would be appreciated.

Thanks,
SC

it stands for Active Release Technique. The chiropractor is basically trying to break up the scar tissue and increase your range of motion (in my case the rotator muscle). Hurts like the devil!!!!! Definitely not a good time.

ive read on it...and its helped a friend of mine..speak to the guy who you are doing with..ask him how often is the most you can do it?and take some time of for shoulders???

peace
