A question for the women

how much more attractive is a man when he smiles? how much of a difference does it make in the way you think about him?

if you were to see a picture of a man with a straight face, and then another picture of him with a smile...would you be significantly drawn to one over the other?

I prefer "manly looking men", but when I see the same man smiling... I melt. I can almost hear them laughing.

Nothing attracts me to a man more than his sense of humor. A guy could be butt-ugly but if he has an awesome sense of humor, he is in like flynn.

Wow you woman are sure not like men, no amount of humour can make an ugle woman pretty to guys LOL.

12 beers can but not humour!

It's true.

Why do you think attractive women end up with "ugly" guys sometimes?

I don't mind if a man isn't the most handsome man alive. Actually, the men that I find attractive are anything but pretty boys - I don't like that look at all. I like rugged, manly men....

But he MUST have a nice build. And I prefer big men because I like to feel small and protected even though I most certainly can take care of myself. It has always been a preference.

So now - he has to be funny, big, nice build, smart and have a good heart and not jealous psycho controlling crazy - married, engaged or gay.

Anyone out there that fits the bill?

wow, i didn't expect every single response on this thread to actually be from a female. nice work ladies, thanks. keep the input coming.

Cause they got cash

It couldn't be because a guy who is less attractive might not be an arrogant asshole who treats women like shit because he thinks that he can get with anyone? Couldn't be that he might actually treat a girl with kindness and respect... could it?

Sure but that's not as common as the cash hounds.

I won't disagree with you there. But surely you can see how an attractive woman with self esteem could fall head over heels in love with a good guy who is less attractive for more than just the thickness of his wallet, can't you?

It's not inthe smile or teeth - it's in the eyes.

Although good fleshy lips etible aren't a bad thing either.

Oh definitely! I'm just a cynic so that everytime I see a really attractive woman riding in a Mercedes with a not so attractive, older, balding man, I don't think 'good guy' ;)

Don't be a hater on us older balding men. Besides, I drive a Lexus SC430.

I didn't say old and balding. I said butt ugly. There is a difference you know. Older men are very sexy.

A man that is butt ugly at 25 won't be any less so when he is 65. He will only be butt ugly AND old. LOL

HAHHAHAHA

Isn't that the truth

I absolutely love to see a man smile. It lights up his whole face. Especially if it goes to his eyes. They just seem to have a special little sparkle. There are different kinds of smiles too. Sometimes there is a big goofy grin or maybe it's just a coy little smile that makes you think he's hiding something. I definitely would rather see a man smile than have no expression at all.

I have that kind of smile that makes you wonder just what the hell I'm up to!

p.s. I'm not gonna tell ya!

You do realize this means that you are flirting with disaster?! :qt:

I have heard that smiling is always a plus. I dont' have the greatest teeth but I try to smile as much as possible. I'm also getting braces :)

and "harmless" weren't none of 'em. ;)

Ah, but you're still just bits across cyberspace. And the fractional reality of us meeting is near zero.

Holding one's breath = Turning Blue
Blue critter as TV cartoon character = Smurf
I being incurably horny + holding breath = Horny Smurf

Unleashing that into the world = FCC fine.

Think of it as mixing several recent theads and that adorable Smurf babe into one teensy thread.
