a question about mass building & strength training

Hey im new here soo hello everybody!

I wanted to know if its alright to do a 3-5 week mass building routine (about 8-10 reps per set) and say for example cleans (for power) at the same time? then after the 3-5 weeks is over, switch to strength (5x5's) + power training. Is that a alright routine to do?

one thing to rememeber is that with strength will come size. Go out and do some heavy squats and benches. get some strength and then worry about the frilly stuff!!
 
jimm has a good point. Stick to the basics of lifting: lift heavy and you will get bigger and stronger. No reason not to do cleans they are great for building explosive strength. But for overall power nothing beats the big three(Bench, Squat, and Deadlift). Also if you want to build mass make sure you are eating plenty of calories.
