hunting with crossbows and guns seems too one-sided for my liking. i would respect it more if it was with your bare hands. i know if i was an animal i would be pissed if some white trash redneck shot me dead with a crossbow.

not a crossbow, it is a standard bow. Hunting with a bow is the hardest thing I have ever done. I am good to like 40 yards and the animal must be broadside or quartering away, up wind, and not behind a bush or tree. Sooooo...there are many variables that make it difficult. This was the 23 bull I saw this season and the only one I got a shot on.

mp re read my post. hunting is you with a gun and me with a gun hunting each other down first shot wins. hunting is two armies with guns and the likes trying to kill each other. thats just MY definition. never said it was unethical or i dissapproved. i don't condone you "hunting" just don't do it myself. I love fishing but release after i catch. again, i am not giving you shit. my definition is different. your fine with me it was not a personal attack it just not hunting. maybe stalking???

I can either kill and elk that has every advantage to him, miles of wilderness, keen senses and some guy after him with a bow and arrow, or you can pay some guy to drive a steel rod through some cows head after he spent his whole life in a pen up to his knees in cow shit, loaded up with drugs and no chance for escape.
