A wrote a book when I was younger. It was all my thoughts about my recent breakup with someone who I loved and cared for. She broke my heart. I thought I'd share what I thought was the best poetry from that book.

THIS OR THAT?
Inspiration
or desperation
why did you return
because you love me
or is it the need to be loved
have you yet not learned

Necessity
or maturity
why did you ever leave
to find yourself
or to be found
with me always begging please

Insanity
or reality
will you stay with me now
promise to love me forever and ever
or just be gone the next day
i
think
this time
i'll
just
watch
you
drown.
