Why is it that THE STEEL BEAST keeps getting banned......

Now others that have been banned in the past have came back and not caused trouble... such as Whity Ford and Winny Fan... Salami...

I think all of these guys add intrest to the board... but the continual banning of THE STEEL BEAST is weird.

I would like to hear.. along with ALOT of others on the board.... why he keeps getting banned???

How do you know he is continually banned. Seems like if they wanted him off totally, they would ban the IP

I can't comment on others getting banned, believe it or not moderators cannot ban people on an individual basis. At the end of the day it is down to the administrators.

As regards Steel Beast, there is FAR more to this 'story' than most people know about. It is not my place to reveal the details, but I believe that sooner or later they will come to light and some of you will begin to understand why this action was taken.

This board is for chat and conversation and not for hate and personal attacks. This is to not single one person out its just to say some times posts become way to personal and attack people. There is no reason for hate on this board nor will it be tolerated any longer. There are many fine folks on this board who's post I enjoy reading very much. Others find it fun to gain being popular since they can't in the real world by posting hateful statements and personal attacks. Am I the only one who finds it odd that some members have multiple handles some as guys and girls with many posts on both? Does this scream out I have no life so let me build one where nobody will know who I am and I can try to become popular as I can't in the real world? I have been on for over 2 years and have far few posts than some others who have been here for a short period of time. No person will ever be above this board and personal attacks will no longer be tolerated. if that what turns someone on find a new board as you will now hate this one. That's just my two cents and again pertains to no particular member.

Actually, in nearly five years I can count the times I have been personally attacked on one hand. I probablt deserved it.

Again for the record, when we all signed on to Elite we agreed to certain rules and regulations. Simply put when you break the rules time and time again warning after warning the only alternative is to go. Sure some may sign back on under different names, but essentially if those names also break the rules, those people go also. It's cut and dry, Folks. When the harrassment goes beyond the board into someone's personal life and begins to disrupt their life and family, then yes it has gone too far. Moderators do not ban members, they only keep the Administrator abreast of all the thing going on and the ultimate banning power lies in the hands of George. I respect that and support that. If I am wrong, then ban me! Dballer I would use my last keystroke to step out and defend your rights just as boldly if you were on the other end and it was putting your family in danger.

However, if someone was to go around spreading serious allegations, like I was a drug dealer and I had the drugs squad turnover my place, question my employers and colleages etc. I would firstly want them banned. Secondly, I would track them down...... they will think that a brain tumour is a birthday present when I got hold of them....

Anyway, that may sound elaborate, but, government agencies do read these boards... trust me, recent events have proved this beyond doubt. Did'nt May acuse RyanH of being a meth dealer or something? Anyway that is just ONE facet of the problem

The other thing I would point out is that this is a public board, although I see a lot of shit I disagree with here, I will just state(in strong terms if neccesary) that I disagree with it. What I don't like is when a whole group of people gang up on individuals or habitually hound their posts with insults.

I guess this is a bad analogy, but if I was walking around Hyde Park, through Speakers Corner I would hear all manner of shite that I would disagree with and I may question and/or argue the point. If someone called me out and called me a child molester or something in front of a huge crowd, likely or not I would remove their head.

I know we have our jokes, even personel attacks can be funny, sometimes. Some people go too far and start on people for NO reason.


Saying that, in my opinion, some people do deserve it for the shit that they talk(ie, a certain sticky on the chat page reflects this fact) but I think you are all adult enough to know when enough is enough and when it is warranted.

I will finish by saying that, to my knowledge, ALL the peole mentioned in this thread were warned, some many times, before being eventually banned.

I agree with you totally, on the internet, nobody knows who you are - who cares. but this isn't the internet - this is a private board that you register to join - it isn't your right as a citizen of whatever your country is to be on the board.

you have to follow rules, and they weren't doing that - they were given warnings, and they ignored them.

All I can say is that, to my knowledge, these people were warned and they just did'nt back off. Not saying that in all cases I PERSONALLY believe it was appropriate BUT as Big Buck said, we only present the facts to the Administrators and they take it from there.

Don't believe that Mods are above getting banned, it HAS happened!

Anyway, I would bet vital parts of my anatonmy that these people are or will be back, albiet under a different handle
