Well Buck you might have made history then. I can't ever remember anyone being all-state in any sport..getting "several" scholarships and not going to college.......especially when they are paying for it. Do you think you are going to get a scholarship now? I mean it would be great if you do but I can't see any college coaches taking a chance on someone that hasn't been playing organized ball for 4 years.

You played in HS ball in TX right?

Maybe I didn't make the right choice, but it's history now. (if u don't beleive me, @ my grandmother's house in TX, I have a whole filing cabinet w/ all the college letters I got, I didn't even open some of them) I don't need a scholarship now, I have money for college. I plan to walk-on my first year...and if I get a scholarship after that....then great...if not, then I still gotz $$$ to pay for it. (oh yeah remember Anderson that plays for the Broncos...he's an ex-Marine) Yes, I played in TX.

Whoa Big Daddy don't get all defensive. I am sure grandma's house has all that stuff. Everyone has priorities, goals and shit......if yours wasn't to go to college so be it. If you enlisted in the middle of the school year I am sure you had already received many letters since they usually start after or during the junior year anyway. I know most of mine came between my jun and senior year anyway.

Well if ya don't get a scholarship it is serious bank these days to go to school....especially out of state. Did you get the GI bill or something so that you only have to pay back 25% of the loans?

Reason I asked about TX is cuz I know that TX is huge and lots and lots of good players come out of their so if you were All-State then you must have been awesome. How much did you weigh your senior year...playing weight I mean?

Nope didn't know Anderson was a Marine.

I played @ 225-230.....ran a 4.5 in the 40. I lost alot of muscle in boot camp...I graduated @ 187lbs. So, since then, I've been slowly gaining it back and adding more. With the new GI Bill, u get $800 a month, plus cuz I'm from TX and was in the military, I get extra money as well (it's some kind of state military fund set up by all the vets here) Oh yeah, I'm still technically a resident of TX, so when I go back to school, I won't be payin out of state fees.
