A Few Questions on Weightloss

yea, im not looking to get ripped, just lose a few inches off my gut.

My stats are above. I have a 38 3/4 inch waist. Id like to get it down to at least 35 inches. I dont want my abdominals visable, just wanna lose the freaking rolls. :) Thanks for ur advice thus far

You seem to be looking for timeframes so:
Ive been working out for 2.5 months. Weights twice a week, and 30 min cardio 3-4 times a week.

Im 33, 5'10. In that time Ive gone from 185 lbs, down to 170 lbs. My waist has gone from 36-37 to a 34. Im now 176 lbs, but my waist is a bit smaller than when I was 170. Damn I wanna be a 32!!!!

Im pretty damn happy with the results in just 10 weeks! The last pounds are WAY harder than the first ones. I'm at the point now where i gotta fight the little bulge at the belly button. Its gonna be hard.

Lose the weight.. but save some money....I gotta buy new clothes now! :D

The more fat you have to lose, the easier it is initially.... it's when your bodyfat levels start getting lower that it becomes harder to lose.

The slowing of fat loss is not only due to bodyfat levels, but calorie deficit/debt as well -- with leptin mediating the effects of both.

I read your article on Leptin mediation of metabolism and liposysis. Im not a bio major, but know enough about human biology to get me by. I was impressed. What do u do for a living?
