I love Kubrick movies, but when I saw A Clockwork Orange I was lostt. Maybe you have to sit down and pay total attention to the movie to understand it. Could someone explain it to me. I think I would enjoy it more the next time I see it if I know what is going on. Because the first time I saw it, I was completely lost.

Social misfit and gang love violence and drugs and are considered a waste by society.

Social misfit is given social reconditioning to make him fit in.

reconditioning doesn't really take and the misfit being much smarter now hides his predilections for violence, drugs and sex.

Whilst I was living in Frankfurt, a German band called Die Toten Hosen released an album based on A Clockwork Orange entitled (I believe), "Eine Kleine Horrorshow."
I owned the CD, but it was stolen when my place in Tribeca was broken into, and now I can't find it anywhere.
Two cool singles from it are, "Keine Ahnung," and "Hier Kommt Alex."

Anyone have a copy of the album, by any chance????

Clock Work Orange is crazy...the part where he beats up that guy and sings, "Singing in the Rain?" damn that was trippy..that old man's face and shit?? I was high as hell watching it and thought it was nuts..

Funny part was when they're eating those popscicles that look like dicks and he walks up to that chick in the music store and says "Yours looks lopsided"--very funny moment

All in all, I'd recommend this movie if you're high..it fucks with ya definitely
