A challenging chore to start?.................

I am thinking of becoming an expert on this administration and hitting the speaking tour. It would be hard to find groups to listen to me at first but my public speaking skills can be very good. I think I could wind up speaking to large college groups and have some influence.

Why? I don't want to see the world Americanized through military operations. Why spread a culture that leads in:
Obesity
Litigation
Depression
Divorce
Incarceration
Hypertension
Lay offs
White collar crime

We really ought to work on our own problems instead of plundering the world so that the super rich become super richer.

I wasn't planning on charging homeboy! If I just wanted money, I'd go into the porn or liquor business.

College kids paying to hear a no name warn about developing trends? I doubt that.

Well Homeslice, I still would not go if you plan on educating college students even for free! I would not be caught dead on a College campus ever again! I payed my time years ago! How about Conventions or Private Clubs maybe? Or will you become one of those "Street Preachers?"

OK....I'll have to live with Dcup being in absentia.

I'd probably speak to almost any group, at least at first, but I would never preach on the streets....that would be crazy.

If your in my neighborhood at a respectable place and I can get at least a 4 star meal (which I would pay for of course) I may check out your speaking abilities! But if all else fails you can always start on the streets, Crazy or not! You have to start somewhere to create an audience!

Getting the audience will be hard at first! Especially when so many are pumped about crushing Iraq.

Maybe I should recognize the odds and just find a big titted beauty who loves to fuck. :licker:

Why? I don't want to see the world Americanized through military operations. Why spread a culture that leads in:
Obesity

This is an aspect of being a wealthy nation. Obesity is a by-product of access to food. We lead because of the cheap, efficient manufacture of food. Most of the world does not have this problem, because they have the problem of GETTING food.

Litigation

A by-product of a "free" society. Other countries cap amounts that can be awarded, so the incentive to sue is reduced. This is by no means a benefit in all aspects, and I believe this is a problem perpetuated by the mindset of the public and the legal system, but with freedom comes responsibility.

Depression

Another aspect of a wealthy nation. We have lost the idea of trials and tribulations that occur everyday in poorer countries and consider the cancellation of "Seinfeld" as the end of the world. This too is related to the mindset of the public.

It was my understanding that Russia had a higher divorce rate, but I may be wrong. No matter, again a problem of the value system of the American public. European countries have less problems with this partly because many have opted out of marriage and simply live together.

Incarceration

War on Drugs.

Hypertension

Another effect of affluence and obesity.

Lay offs
White collar crime

Lay offs and white collar crimes are simply facts with no relation to reality. Both can be looked at as functions of an industrialized nation. Jobs are not forever. Companies come and go. The real aspect that must be considered is if there are other jobs to take up the newly unemployed and there are in the US.

White collar crime is a function of having white collar jobs. Some men have no qualms about immoral activities, this is inherent in humanity, not the US.

We really ought to work on our own problems instead of plundering the world so that the super rich become super richer.

I agree with isolationist (military) practices, but the issues you posted are not problems that are correctable by government, but corrected individually.

Many European countries have equal access to food. They are not equally obese. Moreover, the poorest people in the US are the fattest; it's not like in ancient Rome where the people starve as the rich pig out.

LITIGATION A by-product of a "free" society. Other countries cap amounts that can be awarded, so the incentive to sue is reduced. LOL!
The prevalence of litigation is such a drain on our economy that if you stopped admitting lawyers to the bar for 10 years, things would get better. Our litigious society has added costs to every business transaction and insurance premium.

INCARCERATION War on Drugs.

I agree but you know that the war on Drugs is window dressing for a bigger problem between the citizenry and government.

The litigation and incarceration problems can be fixed TODAY by government action.

If the government cannot correct problems they should put themselves out of business because they sure as hell create a lot of problems.

Besides, several of those problems could be reduced with some common sense. But you know that our legislative process is almost totally devoid of that.
