A cat's life isn't too bad

I just took these two pictures of our cat. She is lying on the back of the sofa in her favorite spot. What a hard life!

That's the same way my dog Molly sleeps. On the back of the sofa, she has flattened out the cushion on one end.:FRlol:

:FRlol: Well...our sofa is pretty new so I guess in time it will be flat too! Our dogs sleep like that too! Sometimes, I will come home and our oldest dog (Max) will be lying like that in her spot. I'll have to get a picture of that sometime.

pussy galore!

Cats rule; I have a Persian. Cats are unique: on the one hand, they can be major bitches, but on the other hand they are very affectionate. Sound familiar?

my cat sleeps at the foot of my bed at night.

I think she is waiting for Max the dog to give her a lick!

Cats are very unique. Strange creatures that only come to you if you are preparing their food.

3Vandoo...what kind of cat is that and is that her bed?

I'm convinced that cats have a sixth sense. But then tell that to the cat who runs up a tree and refuses to come down.

:FRlol:
Our cat is an inside cat but one day she ran out the door and climbed a tree beside the house and proceeded to get onto the roof. I didn't have a ladder at the time so I went down to the hardware store and bought one. Got home and proceeded to chase that cat all over the roof. Our roof is very big and very steep. I came down and was trying to figure out how to get her down. My daughter opened her window and the cat came right to her. Freakin' pets! :FRlol: Kids keep things so simple!

3Vandoo.......damn....now that's a hog of a cat....25lbs.....damn!

Starfish......felix is kind of scary looking! Thanks for sharing!

I have a feeling that felix is a lot like his owner. He likes to act tough, but he's really a softy. :)

MY FOLKS JUST GOT A KITTEN, IT IS NOT 4 MONTHS OLD.

SHE'S JUST SKIN AND BONES COMPARED TO OUR OLD CAT, BUT BOY DOES SHE PLAY HARD.

PETS ARE GOOD FOR OLD PEOPLE.

My cat does that too. He was the first male cat I'd ever had and he was busy displaying the family jewels at age 10 weeks. By 6 months I brought him in to the vet to deal w/ the claws because he's an indoor kitty and I can't afford to keep replacing furniture. Doc said he was pretty well-hung so we took care of that too. Now he runs like a girl. But at least the family jewels ain't hanging out and he lays on his back.

Sorry cat.

Paulos, do dogs have the ability to balance themselves on a narrow beam without falling?

Didn't think so. so you can sit down.

sit ubu. sit.

We did that to our cat too. Declawed and spaded(sp?) Now she is just the slut around the house......our two dogs hump her as much as possible but without the concern of having a cat/dog like the cartoon! :FRlol:

They do hump her alot though but what can I do.

No, but my dog has the ability to vomit on command. It doesn't get much better than that.

does your dog also have the ability to fart on command?

I mean, these are pretty worthless qualities for dogs to have, are they not? Compare: my cat balances himself on a beam, with my dog can vomit on command.

I like dogs, have one also, but I'm convinced that cats are extraordinary.

Not to be rude Ryan, but what is so spectacular about balancing on a beam? If your cat knew Karate or something then I'd be impressed.

humans value balance...why do you think we enjoy so much of the performing arts or gymnastics, etc.?

Then again the balance a cat has would probably help with the Karate, so I now see your point and realize my logic is flawed.

Where is that stupid dog, I'm going to punch her in the face for her gross lack of balance and making me pet her constantly.

i love the whole cat family, from house pets to lions and every cat inbetween. i also love dogs too just as much. they both make good pets.

i just dont like it when my cat(who has a plastic fetish) eats some ribbon or plastic and then throws it up and the ignorant dog comes by and licks it up. and the stupid dog eats catshit out of the litter box and leaves some of it laying somewhere. we actually found a turd in the bed one time. another thing, that fucking cat takes a shit in my daughters close basket the other day on top of her damn dirty laundry.

but i love our pets.

I know all of that all too well except the turd in the bed and the cat shitting in the clothes basket.

Sponge

We put the litter box in the downstairs bathroom that nobody uses and put it on the counter. The cat just hops up there and does her business and then we clean it out. The two dogs can't jump that high so there is never any other cat shit to clean up. They do love to eat the cat's shit though and will do it every chance they get!

It's pretty fucking disgusting thinking that dog is trying to lick you in the face and knowing he has been eating cat shit!

well lately the dog hasnt done it. we got a catbox that is covered and has an opening, that seems to have stop that dog for now. but i tell you what, these damn animals are about to drive us crazy around here with thier damn bad habits. if it wasnt for us de-clawing that cat, there is a good chance that bastard would be an outdoor cat by now. i'll never de-claw a cat again, i just wasnt thinking right. thier funny though, i guess we get some enjoyment out of them bastards. house pets have some strange behaviors, thier like family though.

humor,
the other day my damn cat was getting as close to me as possible when i was on the computer. here he is inching his way up under my chair that has wheels. well i went to move and i hear this grouling hissing noise and i turn around and see a clump of hair under my chairs wheel. that damn cat was looking at me like, "what in the hell did you do that for, i was just napping here." well i look at him and said, "you dumbass cat". he just glared at me.

christ! your cat is the fattest thing around!!!
ive got 2 cats, but they're in decent shape. Maybe you should start slipping some DNP into it's food!
lol jk of course....

Cute kitties and puppies up in this thread!

Excuse me HumorMe, but I could NOT help but notice....Your cat is a major slut to be sittin like some spread eagle lil whore waiting for the local TOM to "do" her!

Why do cat's lay on their back like this? My Bandit does the same thing! Chases water too...crazy cat!

I'll be the old lady in the hood who has 100 of them when I hit 80 in a few more year's!

My cat is just a big ole' slut. I honestly think she could "hook" for a living. :lmao: I am so thankful we had her fixed before things got out of hand.

Never seen a cat chase water though! Our cat will jump up pn the bed when you are in the beginning stages of REM sleep and just pounce on you and scare the shit out of. She'll chase your feet underneath the covers when you move them while you are sleeping and try to stop them from moving by biting them. Sometimes, she'll wake me out of a dead sleep..biting my toes. Damn I hate that!

This thread just reminded me of the two cats we had when I was a kid (on top of two German Shepherds, a snapping turtle, a whole binch of different birds)......they couldn't have been more different.

The first was a real lady.....and liked all the good things in life.

But the second came from non-domestic parents and was hard as nails. The mother had her kittens in a roofing gutter.....and seeing as it rained alot, the kittens didn't do too good. So we had one and the others were handed out to other families. So she was wild. You could have her sleeping on your lap.....but if you moved she's cut your arms to shreds with her claws and teeth (the humans purpose was to keep her warm and that was it!). And she'd attack our German Shepherd's just for kicks and giggles.....they were scared stiff of her. Damn thing would steal their food.....and run all of the way around the room just to cuff em around the ear. She even used to have the male dog clean her (he was one soft soab.....he'd clean anything....saw him try to do a chicken once lol). She was badass all the way :).
