A Brand New Car !!

I'm happy for you.. Really.. Nothing like your first NEW car...

The only thing uglier than those are the new SCION box things..
But, I'm sure that since its a Honda, it's nice.

nice man.. I know I'm in the minority but I like the way those things look. I had a honda a while back, they're rock solid.. just change the oil and it'll run forever.

Congrats on your first new car. That's a great feeling.

That said, if cars took each other to prom, your car's date would be a used Pontiac Aztek that several Scions had run a train on the night before. Actually I really don't think they're that ugly, it just cracks me up because my gf comments at least once a week on how much she hates it. But it's a Honda so you got reliability in your corner, plus it's very unique so you don't look like everything else on the road.

Why buy an "SUV" that doesn't have 4-wheel drive?

its got all wheel drive...and its nice cuz its shift on the fly..wich is most common now a days any way...not like my old jeep with locking hubs...

I bet you will be shifting on the fly a lot on pavement as it doesn't have
the clearance your jeep had..

its actualy doesnt have bad clearance at all....itll get me to the trailhead..

Locking hubs SUCKED!

Yeah, someone told me All Wheel was just as good as 4-wheel, until he burnt out his clutch trying to pull a tree stump out. He had to call me to pull it out with my 4-wheel drive pathfinder. :)

But if you don't NEED 4-wheel, All Wheel is good for snow conditions.

AWD is better for the street because it has a Viscius(sp?) couplings between the
transmission transfer case front/rear diff and wheels..
Vs the hard connection in 4x4s that need the dirt for slippage when turning corners.

The worst part about manual locking hubs was those stubborn fools that would wait to lock up until they were stuck..
Then they had to climb out and get all nasty..

Good part was the system was simple and rarely failed.
Lots of electronic hubs say they are locked when indeed the were not.

Or worse, the system would lock one hub and not the other..
