I finally convinced the old man to pull over in Tuscon. Two bacardi mohitos and one lunesta and STILL all night w/no sleep... Wasn't really up for the sechs so we hit the road early this AM. We have a stop to make in Phoenix then he tells me that we should be arriving at his mom's house in Palm Springs by dinner time.
This will be the first time I meet her in the flesh. She always seemed really nice over the phone so I am looking forward to it. She was born in 1921 and taught school up until they wouldn't let her last year. She sounds like one fiesty old lady... hehehee

smurfy i got you beat...i WOKE UP at midnight on thursday...went back to bed at 2 am and woke up this morning at 5:30am ish...haha

i'm exhausted. woke up, made breakfast, then quickly showered and got ready and me, hubby, and daughter drove to the next state over to do some shopping. I had 2 gift cards and the stores were 45 minutes from my house, but I got some clothes (1 blouse, 2 really nice cotton tops, a little cardigan sweater, a sparkly tank top, bra and panties), a HUGE wreath to go over my fireplace, new towels for the kids bathroom, and i found this great fabric store where I got some beautiful linen fabric. we had lunch in olive garden, then came home and my daughter and I played scrabble.
my blackberry was delivered, and i've pretty much sat here trying to program it, other than making dinner, and giving my dogs baths.
it's time for bed. even though I DON'T HAVE TO GET UP TOMORROW!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

so far, it's SUPER intuitive. it knows if i spell a word wrong, nomatter which way i'm entering it.
i do notice a short lag time once in a while, but it could just be me because i'm not used to the buttons.
