$8 hair cut

You can have a hair cut from US$5 (yeah five bucks!) in Chinatown to a little more
Usual price being US$8 for men's cut

I think I'll try that one day out of curiosity

Have you ever tried to have a hair cut for the price of a coffee an a donut ?
 
Enough for me having everything "Made in China". A haircut "made in China" in American soil would be too much... :rolleyes:
 
My sister's in beauty school. I just had her tint my hair with a purple sheen today (it's dark brown almost black and in the light has a purple sheen) today. It cost $10 for the actual supplies from the beauty supply.

A few of her friends from school have cut/colored me too. It's only around $35-40 and I tip then 100% since that's just insane. I normally pay at least $200 for a cut/color. Now it'll be free from my sister. ;)

I once paid like $30 for a haircut.. total rip.. but they used scissors only, no clippers.

I can get that for 12 bucks here.

Barbars - old schoolers. They are hispanic but totally americanized. They do a great job. Even shaved my neck hair with a straight razor.

A lot of women will do sloppy jobs.
 
I can see how a guy's cut wouldn't take that long and wouldn't cost as much. But a higher priced haircut usually involves scissors only and massage.

It generally takes 4 hours for me to get a cut/color. That's why it never bothered me to spend $200.
 
Same but now that i'm not blonde and i dyed my hair black it's cut down costs slightly :)

I just did the same thing. My hair is almost black with a purple sheen to it. It's clove by Paul Mitchell with a Paul Mitchell amethyst PM Shine over the top.

My natural color is so dark brown it's almost black so now my sister can throw a PM Shine through it every 4-6 weeks at her place ($4) and it'll be perfect.
 
Yah same.. my eyebrows were pretty much black..

The blonde was costing me over 4 grand a year to keep up

I usually got a 2 or 3 color full foil with either a bleach and a carmel or a bleach, carmel, and red. It gets really expensive. You're right! My brows are dark so my dark hair matches them well. Though with this purple sheen to my hair my brows are kind of blah. I'm going to wait another week before I decide if I'm going to tint my brows.

Oh the trials of being a woman. ;)
 
I'm high maintenance but I fund it myself. And it doesn't take me long to get ready either. Yes I have $400 worth of OPI nail polish. I spend an hour every other day on manicures/pedicures. But I do them myself. That would cost me a FORTUNE to get done.

And now that my sister can cut/color me I'm getting way more cut/colors. lol
 
i'm the same.. i look more high maintenace than i am.. takes me only 20 minutes or so to get ready....

But i take care of myself :)

I'm a 20 minutes or less to get ready kind of girl too. I just dry my hair quick, throw on a little makeup, and I'm out the door. It takes me longer to decide what to wear than it does to do the hair/makeup thing.

i have this divine stylist out in the hamptons named maurice. he's to die for.

ta ta for now though, must run to the old job!!

I have an aveeno chapstick, 6 lip glosses (mac and lancome), and 4 lipsticks (mac and aveda) in my purse. I just made myself take half of the lip products out of my purse because it was getting to be putzy to dig through and find what I was looking for.
 
my mac one's r all in the car.. i love them but they don't taste as good :)

Mac lustreglass tastes okay but it's kind of thick. I like the slight vanilla flavor of their lipsticks though. The lipglass doesn't taste like anything but it sure makes me shiney!

I just spend $200 on MAC eye makeup last weekend. lol Since I have dark hair now I wanted more sassy and wild colors. How fun!

$30 + tip for my haircut. Frank (my hairstylist) is worth every penny. Been with him for years now. That's the trick, you gotta find someone good and stick with him. Yes I said him, that's because girls suck at cutting hair. No offense ladies lol. It's true about one thing, gay dudes are masters at cutting hair.
 
I used to pay exactly $8 for my haircuts from my local barber when I was still living at home with the folks. Now I am too far away and had to find a new barber. So I just go to Cost Cutters where it is like 12 bucks or so. I could really care less what my hair looks like. Even if I do "style" it, my helmet fucks it up anyways, so what's the point?
 
It kind of feels like cheating when you get a new stylist. There's always a little guilt.

I can't handle seeing another massage therapist. I'd have to go through counselling. lol

my haircuts cost 10 bucks! Too expensive for me!
 
Supercuts for $12 but I'd give them a $20 including the tip.

Now the lady at the supercuts comes to my house on her own time and cuts my hair, my wife's(yes) and my daughter's at the same time. $25, no tip and we're done. I hate waiting at the place to get my haircut. I hate waiting anywhere.

Here in the little ho-dunk town I live near hair cuts and a shave are $5.00.

And there are a lot of little ho's also, unfortunetely most of them are in the 15-17 range and fly the coupe shortly after---thus keeping a lid on the slut population. Bitches.
