1) There aren't 6 billion in the world? Nope. Thats true.
2) There aren't 4 million protestors? Nope. That is a true.
3) That isn't .002 percent of the world. Nope. That is true.
4) It contradicts your liberal scream: MOST OF THE WORLD IS AGAINST THIS WAR!
I am betting on #4.
And BTW, is that how you act as a mod? Insulting people for no reason?

how many people in the world even know what's going on, or have access to a TV or internet.
your statistic is very misleading. besides there are plenty of people who have jobs or are in school that cannot protest.

in opinion polls conducted throughout europe, a much different picture is painted. samples of the populace were interviewed and many were aginst the war. only those who chose to protested, those against the war are far greater in number

What I was pointing out is the fact that the press says that people ALL over the world are standing up in protests.
They are not. People may not be for it, or even against it.

Quite frankly I think it's just as careless to claim that most of the world is FOR this war as it is to claim that it is AGAINST the war.
It is clear that the protestors are against the war. It is clear that the governments opposing the US are against the war. It is clear that the US government is in support of the war. Now, that's where the clarity ends. How do you know that a bunch of starving Africans who have never heard of Iraq support or oppose the war? Ask them and they'll oppose it. Offer them food and they'll support it. What about the Chinese? Or the Russians?
That statistic is just as misleading as "X% of the United States supports the war against Iraq" because you are not polling the entire population. You are polling a small portion (i.e. that portion lazy or unemployed enough to go out and whine while making daily life difficult for people who are trying to get to and from work) and claim it represents the majority. I especially liked those statistics during the presidential election where 200 people were polled and therefore that meant that 68% of the nation thought Al Gore should have won or some stupid figure like that. gay!
