Has anyone tried the 5x5 program mentioned in bill starr's book. You follow do essentially 3 full-body workouts using compound movements and heay weight. Also has you squating for 5x5 at each workout. I'm not sure, but this seems like it would overtrain me as I can squat for over 350 using over 12 reps. I was thinking of using this routine combined with gear to gain some mass. Any one try this beast ?
