You need to do some reading. But I think I understand your question -- you'd work several muscles. For example, on Monday you squat (5 sets of 5), then you work chest/shoulders/tri's with bench press (5 sets of 5), and then you work back/rear delts/bis with bent-over BB rows (5 sets of 5). And then you do some assistance exercises (abs, arms, lower back, etc.).
