5x5 is really great

thanks guys. My squat has been iffy lately. The car wreck i was in really stalled my squat progress. Just been doing a couple sets of high rep squats and leg press. My head is fine now so i plan on hitting the 5x5 on squats tommorrow.

Quick question. Is it realistic to set a goal to lift a 5x5 of 275lb on bench by june?
 
That goal all depends. Is 250 hard for you 5x5? Are you adding 5 pounds to your bench each week? If your strength is continuously increasing, I see no reason you should not be pressing 275 in 3 months.
 
I definitely think it is realistic to hit that goal. The guy I lift with (who is also a member here) went from 295lbs 5x5 to 350lbs 5x5 in about 4 months. As long as you are adding weight every week and keeping those increments small (this is crucial) you'll be there soon enough (of course assuming you are maintaining good recovery habits and what not) .
