5000$ or EF?

Cash or Community?

  • I take the 5000 in large unmarked bills, EF was cool but not 5k cool.

  • I remain with EF, you can't put a price on community and friendship, not for 5000 anyway.

I'm a newb here but totally dig it, it gives me friends to talk to at work, gives me a reason to stay home, and I love the communal feel. I think it really comes down to Emeson's quote that a friend is one before whom I may think aloud. I have a social life, but look forward to logging on just as much as I do getting an email or call from one of the bro's or broettes, however, my question to fellow EFers, if you were bribed 5000 and you were banned from EF, no alters either, or would you forego the cash and remain with EF.
Just a passing digression before class starts. :)

I would take the cash and rejoin.. I can always come back to a website, I am a 1337 internet user.

also man 5k is not much money

I'd take EF, I have plenty of cash...now if you made that 50,000, I might change my answer...but 5 g? Psh.

maybe not to you! 5k is a lot of money, it just doesnt go very far these days.

When you say 5K, do you mean 5 Karma points? If so, then YES!

Wait, I've spent more than 5k just to be on here!

at this point, yes

under normal circumstances. no

but on a side note EF is a time vampire. i'd probably make alot more money if i wasnt on here

Maybe 10,000... I know 5 k is not alot, basically 2 or 3 cycles for gear heads or a couple of macs, but yeah I wanted it to be close 10k would've been more of a challenge I think...

10K might give me slight pause, but not much more than that. And that has less to do with how much I like EF than it does what that money means to me. I spend about 15% of my income every year and save/invest the rest (I have an early retirement plan), and 5-10K doesn't make much of a dent in that either way.

LMAO is this a joke?

There's hundreds of other fitness forums just as good if not better than here

Basically the question is what do you value more the relationships established here at EF or 5000... I voted in the minority... 5 k just won't get you much today.

I guess that really comes down to how attached some people get to strangers online

and that whole, "5k isn't that much" crap is overrated.. I'll take my ass on a nice vaca anywhere in the world for a week or two with that priceless 5k

Gold digger!!!

I can see everyone that said take the cash , actually takes the cash .
the 2 people that stay on elite would talk to each other then eventually say how they wished they took the cash when it was offered

baller alert@!!!!!

To be honest I'm not sure what I'd do. I'll cross that bridge when and if I ever come to it. I'm on EF almost everyday for the past year straight so it would be hard to say good bye to EF but I don't think I post enough or know enough of you bros to stay for 5k.
