5 meals a day vs 5 shakes...the digestion process of "real food" has a higher thermogenic effect than having to digest liquid foods.
I agree, but it kind of becomes too much of a chore to continue to try and eat 5 "real food" meals every day!
I have 2 or 3 "real food" meals (depending on how busy I am) and the rest are shakes (up to 6-8 total meals, depending on how long i am awake that day).
I do this whether bulking or pre-contest. I would say this is optimal. It can pretty much fit into anybody's lifestyle, because as we all know, there's more to life than bodybuilding right? And I don't say that because I don't take bodybuilding seriously, because I am totally fanatically weird about bodybuilding! LOL!
Anyone agree?
