I believe it's Dr Ken :)

clip used to be on cyberpump

You beat me to it. Yep, it's Dr. Ken.

I like that they didn't edit out the, "Come on, motherfucker!"

Leistner's done some other hellacious lifts, too. I seem to recall that he did BB curls with more than his bodyweight and 245 lbs. military presses in the same video.

Ah...back when Cyberpump! was free...

Guldukat yep, I also have his videos of doing 155 x 6 on curls, and 255 for 4 on strict standing presses, all at 165 lb bodyweight

Pretty cool video. I met him a couple of years ago.

Confusing to me...he doesn't look like he lifts weights. I'd hate to think that I trained for that many years and didn't look like I lifted weights.

That squat video is pretty crazy though...

He looks pretty thick at 165. I read that he got upto 245 lbs once at 10% bf I think, but just prefers to stay small and improve body mass to strength ratio. And the guy is in his early 50's I believe, or late 40's

Hmmm...I really have a hard time believing he ever weighed 245...but who knows really. I know that he is in AMAZING shape though.

I just remember someone saying on another forum that they thought that near anyone who trained hard for 40 years should be able to do that...and look like they lifted weights.

Seriously...I had heard the stories about him and read a lot of his articles and talked with him in an Elevator and in the lobby for quite a while...before realizing who he was. HECK of a guy!!!

Yeah he should have big thighs, since he would have trained quiet a bit to be able to rep out that high with such a weight - crazy if he had small legs :)

If that were me doing that set, I MIGHT do like 2 sets of leg extensions after that to finish off quads. Then again, maybe not. That is about 2x as hard as most people work in an entire 10-12 set Quad routine. He could realisticly stop right there, and would still be sore as fuck the next day.

Very impressive. It looked like he was going to fail at 6!

i plan on doing that same thing in a few years.....405 for 20 full reps....but i wiegh about 70 -80 lbs more then him.....nice work there dr :)

Dr K is an animal when it comes to high rep squats!

He'd often do 100reps in a workout (and not with light weights either)

Haha, you think that his quads weren't "finished off" after that set? I don't think he felt like he needed extra work :D

That really is the point of 20 rep squats though...you do your 1 set and you're D.O.N.E.

I used to work out at Ricky Crain's gym, he's quite a squat monster too, but not necessarily physically imposing even at 181. Ricky is over 50 now, & still strong as ever.

I agree with you.

What gets me is that so many non-strength athletes do what Dr. Ken does thinking that they are going to get huge. I was just in shock to meet him and him be so small...and not just short. Like I said though...VERY nice man...top of the line.

RDC is a strength athlete...not training for muscle hypertrophy.
