Hey, i got more questions. I am new to this scene so help this bro out.
Btw, my task is gain weight (and yeah in good shape). I am curently some 100 lb, and wanna get to 145..lol

I want reasons for some things i heard. Also tell whether they are true.

1) Why do you have to take 5 small meals a day than 3 big meals?? And what does it mean by small meal? Does it mean less food that what you can take??? Today, i took 5 big meals... is that bad?

2) I have started on weights now. Mostly machines and some free weights. I just wanna know whether doing machines that works on the same muscle of your body everyday is bad??? its said that muscle takes time to recover and so you should take rest after workin on that muscle for a day or something.

so a) Currently i am doing wrist curl machine (forearms), a machine for thighs, and dumbbells for biceps and triceps everyday. Is that wrong?
b) Is it correct if i work on this today, and do stuff for chest and other part of my body tomorrow, and go alternatively so that the other muscle will get time to recover and rebuilt from the damage.
c) If i start using glutamine will i be able to work on a specific muscle everyday as it recovers muscle fast??
d) They say creatine helps in giving energy and gives weight gain and stuff and so should be had 45 minutes before a workout. But they also say that the mechanism of creatine is not really known and that it could even be water weight?? So will weight gain due to creatine last??
e) Instead of buying separate cans of protein powder (mass gainer), creatine and glutamine is it enough to buy a protein powder that have like 10 percent of glutamine, 20 percent of creatine, and 60 perc of protein (10 perc some other crap)??? I am gonna buy a protein powder next week but i am confused what to buy u know.

3) Apart from drinking a lot of water, is there something else that can enhance my digestion. This is very important as i think i am having digestion problems now.

Doing bodybuilding wrongly will result in bad improvements. And i really wanna improve lol. 100 lb is the least for a 19 yr old. I am pretty strong, i play a lot and can do handstands, planche and stuff but i really wanna put on weight. I will love to get inspirations from you guys as that is what is gonna get me forward through this.

2) yeah bro you need to give your muscles time to recover, you should never hit the same muscle groups everyday or you will overtrain them and they wont grow

1. In your case, eat five-eight meals a day, eating as much as possible (your 100 pounds?) Eat healthy though, research what good carbs are in comparison to bad carbs, and don't take in a lot of sugar, lay off the sweats but eat a lot of meat, fruits, and vegetables.
2.Yes you need time to recover, also, if you can, get off the machines and focus on free weights, you need to be working on your core lifts, there is no way right off the start that you core is developed enough to concentrate on muscle groups, with your amount of daily cardio, which is good, you should be lifting like 3 times a week (I would recommend the 5x5 workout).
-as for your protein choices and supplement choices I'll leave that up to someone else... I've been working out for 5 years, but I'm still a noob to a lot of stuff.
3.Prune Juice, seriously, but drink lots of water. You want to be getting atleast a gallon a day, and if your on creatine, even more, I would recommend that you lay off the creatine for a few months, working with only a protein shake, then add the creatine. Its not normally good to throw a lot at your body at once, especially when you are just starting because it will be hard to tell what is getting you the best results.

Thanks for the reply lol. Are doing even pull ups everyday not good?? I am having huge doubts here.
And i think i should stay away from creatine etc for now. But i'll reply better after what i hear from the trainers tomorrow (I havnt got a personal trainer btw)

can someone answer 2b and 2c specifically. This is because i am in this city only for 3 months, and here the gym is pretty awesome. I really wanna go everyday to the gym here (except sunday when its off). Btw, as i have just begun, i am goin everyday now.

You really wanna gain weight don't you? Well well, you will need the all 5 meals, because if you have only the big 3 your digestion will suffer therefore you'll not be taking advantage of all the food you eat.

Fuck the supps for now, @ 100lbs you can gain weight by only having good food. Think eggs, meat, poultry, rice, potatoes, dairy and yes vegetables, then stop think, well if you like fast food stuff like that you can have @ 100 I would eat my ass off.

Now the only exercises you really have to be good @ and strive for increasing the weights are, barbell squats, deadlifts, bench press, dips, overhead press, chin-ups, barbell curls, pullovers. Don't waste time with machines please. Workout only three days a week, with a rest day in between sessions, cut on cardio exercises and focus on recovery, dance it's fine, but not stuff that conditions your recovery. Ectomorphs are always on such a rush, that for gaining weight they need to fight their own nature by being slower and more relaxed. Less is more!

if you want to go everyday then you should be doing a split so your hitting different muscles each time so that you dont hit a muscle thats still recovering.

I'm still thinking at your weight if you want to see muscle mass gain you need to only be working out like 3 times a week.
