3 lbs in 1 wk

i was just curis to know ive been eating healthy drink plenty of water and it
does not appear that my stomack has gotten any bigger.(it acutally looks smaller)i was just curious to know if that is okay. shouldnt i loose weight before i gain it? i dont take aas either.

dude...3 lbs is absolutely nothing..it can be all water weight..or a fat ass dump in the making..

I have been swaying at least 3pds a week easy.. Did you weight yourself at the same time of day?

I always weight myself weekly first thing in the morning upon waking after going pee pee.. This has been pretty accurate.
 
Don't worry so much about weight - look at the trends - up or down and also either get your bodyfat measured on a regular interval to see relative changes or just pay attention to how your clothes fit. Weight is sort of the crappy measure to gauge progress on because it tells you the total weight of your bones, fat, muscle and water -- the water is way too variable and tells you nothign about the % fat & % muscle.
 
.5lbs/week is the absolute MAX amount of muscle one can gain in a week and that's a ton.

Most likely water, what you ate that day vs previous...etc.

i was actually looking for that online yesterday...how much muscle mass someone can gain in one week. jkurz you have any article or anything online you can send me. was just curious about it
 
I am losing, looks to be, 2 pounds a week. But since I started my new cutting diet I have went down 2 holes on my belt loop and in another week, it'll be time for yet ANOTHER belt.

I use a belt and old clothes to gauge how I am doing, belt works great. If you are worried about 3pounds a week, and it isn't water weight, just up your calories and it'll all be good. If I lose 3 pounds t his week I'm increasing my calorie intake to get my healthy fats in. Just add 200 or so to your diet.
 
there is no worse time to weigh yourself than after you workout.

And I am 99% sure there is no natural way u can gain 5 pounds of MUSCLE in a week.

Ive "lose" or "gain" three pounds a day if not more. It water dude. Too early to tell.
