3 interviews for a serving job?

has anybody heard of the red robin restaurant chain around here?

well, i applied there this afternoon and all the managers were busy, so I wait almost an hour than a manager comes and he interviews me and he tells me he likes me and will be sending me on to the next "level", he goes and gets another manager who interviews me (the interviews were at least a half hour each, but we got to talk bout' other stuff)

he says he likes me sends me to the "next level"

but the general manager isn't available so I have to go back for the final interview at 3:15 tommorow

anyway, basically they are really cool....but take the restaurant very serious....which I actually like....they have like 25 differerent specialty burgers and tons of speciality spirits which is their selling point

anyway, i'm excited to do the final interview tommorow....it would be a cool place to be a server, looks like good tips :)

When I lived in Phoenix, they had Red Robin Restaurants. They were good ;)

:) they had a really cool atmosphere too....fun top 40 music playing, new everything, and you can wear jeans w/the shirt they provide which is verrry nice!

there's a Red Robin down the road; I go there once a month or so.

The first interview is to see if you're good looking enough.
The second is to see if you have a brain.
The third is to see how you would be in action.

I never heard of this chain but in my experience chain resturants are shity to work at. I worked at a Jack Astors if fuckin sucked sillly standards. Don't even get me started TB run for your life. I suggest a family owned resturant that has a good rep.

Most of the managers had a pickle up there ass for one. Give a person with a little mind a little power they go crazy.
Rules coming out there ass you need to have x amount of pens in your apron, x amount of tip trays a min float, blah blah blah. When you would come on shift you would have to check your section there is paper on the tables with crayons so you can draw. Paper needs to be a certain size x amount of crayons per table. Must check that salt peper and sugar a full. It goes on and on serious out of control rules.

Thinking,....

Nah, good references.
I can get any hunk to bend down infront of me so I can check out the goods.

I was totally serious - it may have sounded like I was kidding but it's totally true.

The club I worked at did it.

I also know that stores like The Limited, Express and Bath and Body Works all do the very same.

wow....i'd never been to a place where they have 3 interviews

the most i've ever had was 2

but i would agree w/velvett and superqt....it was like....1st: are you what there even looking for physically 2.) are you competent and i'm sure tommorow they wanna see if i can handle the job/training/etc.

so yeah, you'd be about right

I disagree....I am sure you are beautiful and all but Velvett's number 1 doesn't apply at Red Robin. I have been there--trust me it doesn't apply. And they don't have the "let me see if she is hot" manager to do the first interview. The "Chains" have policies they have to go by and I am sure that is one of them (3 interviews with 3 different managers). If you went to a family place, the interview process would be different.

i would have thought so too, cuz this isn't exactly hooters, but all the girls there looked fairly alike and were fairly attractive as were the guys....so maybe it is true?, but yeah typically in chain restaurants they don't care
