Okay, bulking, cutting, maintenance diet. I'm basically going to go through them all eventually, so to prepare, I want to see if someone can put together a good example of each. Well, bulking I believe I have a good idea of. I'm 6', 165 lb, 15 years old... so then I need about 20xBW for bulking, 10xBW for cutting, and then 12xBW to maintain, right?

That seems like too much for bulking. I would think it'd be something like 15xBW or whatever. I'm guessing people just say to get 20xBW in calories just to make SURE you get optimal size and strength gain, right?

Since we take your age into account, if you bulk weight x 20 is fine, if not great. Now for cutting you need to use weight x 12, and to maintain it's the same as cutting, you just cycle your calories. Like protein/carb cycling (check out the protein/carb cycling manual)....

Wait, can you please explain how I would go about cycling my caloires? I'll take a look at the manual too, but it'd just be easier if you can tone it down here for me. Like, by cycling, do you mean eating more on training days, in order to maintain?

Yup, read the manual.............

but basically you cycle calories/carbs/proteins mostly based on training
