2nd Cycle started.. need help tweaking diet.

Hey fellas,


So. I started my 2nd cycle 5 days ago. I am running 40mg Test Prop and 50mg Var ED, planning on 6 weeks. Stats: 6'1 200 lbs 10-12%bf.

So, this is my second cycle previous cycle was 400mg cyp/400mg EQ/25mg Var for last 4 weeks. I kept nearly all my mass and strength gains.

I felt some strength today military pressed 80lb Dumbells for 12 fairly easily.

My diet is as follows for this current cycle:

Meal 1

Banana
1 scoop whey 1 scoop musclemilk
1Tbsp Real natural peanut butter
Thick Rolled Oats

Meal 2

Can of Tuna
Kashi Trail Mix Bar
Apple

PreWorkout
1 scoop musclemilk 1 scoop whey, Beta Alanine w/ water

Postworkout
2 scoops whey protein in milk & 1 banana

Meal 3
Within 1 hour of workout
Low sodium Turkey & Low Sodium/Fat Swiss sandwich on wheat
1cup orange juice

Meal 4 (5-6pm)
Chicken/Fish w/ pasta or Brown Rice

Meal 5 (8pm)
Spinach/greens or Broccoli with chicken or fish

Prior to Bed(11-12)
1.5 scoops Casein in Organic Soy Milk or Almond Milk
Almonds


Goal:

Stay at 200lbs or go up to 205 but drop my body fat 2% if not more. Any input would be appreciated.
 
im assuming low sodium turkey is deli meat? replace that with a better protein source, deli meat does not digest well and has a lot of crap in it. replace it with chicken breast or something like that.

Yes sir. Ok, I will do that. I should add that I've upped my cardio. Am I consuming too many carbs?
 
how many g carbs are you eating? you can get away with more carbs while cutting when on gear because the gear is going to use it up at a much higher rate than if you were natty. at least from my experience that is the case.

way way way too many carbs in my opinion.. I couldn't cut up with that diet bro..

You may, but I couldn't.. I am cutting right now and my carbs are well under 50g/day for 3-4 days in a row.. on the 4 or 5th day I get a lot of carbs to kind of..re load me.. and keep me sane and cutting.

like today, I had 5 slices of pizza, plenty of carbs to re load on..

the most I can remember on a (normal) cutting day in the past 3-4 weeks was 1-2 oz of nuts and 1 slice of whole wheat bread... and a little ketchup on my eggs.. that's a whole day and under 50g.. many days I eat less than that..

keep protein high, carbs low (cycled), and fats medium low-ish to low in my opinion.

Whats your caloric intake like? See on the previous cycle I was training mma in the AM and working out at night I was consuming close to 500 grams of carbs a day. After I got off I was probably consuming 400grams of carbs a day.

Do you feel much weaker? Do any cardio? My dilemma is I study about 5 hours a day after school(grad school), so I need the glucose for brain function. I don't want it to affect my performance. I may attempt to do what you are doing 2-3 days with less than 100G of carbs a day then load up and repeat. Thanks for the input guys.. keep it coming.

Too much sugar, fruit/OJ, etc...

Add a scoop of plain oatmeal to your post workout shake and use water instead of milk...

You're drinking a lot of water right?

Rotating carbs has worked for me (as someone stated) I do this:

Day 1: every meal
Day 2: every other meal
Day 3: only 1st meal and post w/o
Repeat

Ok. I will try this. I drink a ton of water.. at least 1.5-2 gallons a day. I will cut out the pwo milk, I ordered some maize. OJ is gone. I think I can handle the carb rotation. Thanks alot guys.

but cut most of the other shit. (IMO)

^^^^Some studies show that people eating apples lost more weight than the group not eating them (although they couldn't figure out why..) May be high fiber/pectin..or the quercetin (spelling?) anti-oxidant. who knows.. but what I do know is it's probably a little slower acting carbs than the banana and higher fiber.

my calories are varied, because of re-loading, but I'm probably at 1500 or less per day..

250-350g protein (1000-1400 calories)
10-20g fats [MCT's] (80-160 calories)
20-300g carbs [20-20-20-150-20-20 or something close depending on how I feel] (80-1200 calories)

I haven't started the cardio yet, letting me slip into the diet suffering first..

starting Monday I'm doing jump rope first thing in the AM several sets of several minutes, same before bed.

as of Wednesday or the next Monday I'm adding 30-45min eliptical or stair master m-f also.

oh- and my drugs, at the moment are only as follows:

Testosterone cypionate (permanent hrt dose) 200mgs every two weeks.

(looking to up the test to 300-400 a week, add some intermittent Anavar and dht)

lol holy shit.. that would be well below my maintenance. I want to lean out.. but I don't want to lose a ton of size/power. I will continue to tweak. My midsection has already started to lean out just from cutting carbs after 5pm. I was ingesting prob close 3600 calories a day with a shit load of carbs since last year. But I'm gonna cut the carbs some more and up the protein.
