Hi everyone i am 25 years old, weigh around 235-240 pounds and my bodyfat % is around 28-29%.What would be the correct caloric level i should eat to cut and how should i break the diet up?Ratio for protein/carbs/fat?Also i will be doing at least 1 hour cardio 6 days per week and working out with weights 3 days per week.On non training days 2 hours cardio and have 1 rest day per week. What does everyone think.I need your help please!

that type of diet would get you some quick fat loss, but trust me,don't go crazy with your cardio.forget the 2 hour sessions and drop to 45 min tops........you will see good results this way just give it a little time........

cardio (no more than 1h30 max) on an empty stomach (1st time in the morning)

and a good diet

Try Atkins. I was skeptical at first but am going on my 7th day and feel good. I've lost about 7lbs (obviously water), but have been told by a "very good friend" there's a difference in how I look already.

Definately do 30-45 minutes of cardio and don't forget to weight train.

Good Luck!

Don't worry so much about the calories now, make sure you still eat. Shoot for 300+ gs of protein over about 6 meals of so. Cut your sugars to basically zero and your carbs very low (below 20 gs a day). Don't worry about the fats for now. You will drop a ton of weight. I've recently dropped about 20 lbs doing this. This is harder than it looks, but well worth it and soon you'll see why.

Like many of them said, your protein intake should be about 300-350 grams and carbs about 100 grams. Along with you're diet you should definitely spread out 6-7 meals a day, some meals consisting of a protein shake or another type of meal replacement. Consider your post-workout drink a meal also. Cut little things such as chocolate, or even salt, out of your diet. Limiting salt intake alone can slowly lead to shedding of pounds over a good consistent period of time. You should go no more than an hour of cardio(best on an empty stomach, as Anthrax said), and do it everytime you lift. The shorter cardio sessions with greater consistency do better than long, less frequent sessions. Train hard, rest, eat right.:D

I agree! Jeeez!! Start slow!! Thatt much cardio and you'll probably quit sooner that you think- I would.
Why dont you do 45 min, 5-6 days a week, before breakfast.
You should see results. Won't 2 hours of cardio hurt your efforts with the weights???
Maybe its genetics, but I have a freind who does (IMO) waay to much running/cardio.....we are the same height, bf%, and have same diet and weight routines ( basically ) she always wonder why my leg muscles are bigger and fuller than hers and I think it might be that she is overdoing her cardio.
