2400 on the SAT

2400 new/ 1600 old are common. They don't mean much in terms of admissions to elite colleges and universities, as most all applicants have near perfect SAT's and 3.9+ GPA/4.5+ WGPA's.

I'm glad I am dumb because I can use the phrase "I didn't know any better" when I mess up.

Or you can be smart and avoid messing up and not have to worry about an excuse. :chomp:

Coming up with a plausible excuse doesn't make you dumb, just creative.

Smart people find ways around things, whether they mess up or not.

I agree with you. Maybe I just misinterpretted his post, but I'm sure you know what I mean. Like, if you practice not to be so clumsy and dumb, you'll have to require less on excuses because you wont fuck up so often. Not saying dumb people always fuck up and smart people dont, but peeps with lesser brains or self-faith screw up alot more, it's no secret.

lmao 5.0? don't GPA's go up to 4?

soon GPAs will be scored out of 10.0 and the SAT will be out of 10,000. this grade inflation is worse than karma inflation.

Rosen's parents, Debby and Scott, said they are proud of their son, a high school junior with a 5.0 grade point average.

personally i only remember a 4.0 GPA as the high

wgpa = weighted gpa

for example, in our high school, AP (adv. placement) and honours courses were graded on a 5.0 scale. when mixed in, we get GPAs in the 4-5 range.

Thank you. I think the SAT is very over-rated.

since when was the SAT on 2400 basis?

i think when i took it, it was on 1600 basis

I think last year. I am a sophomore in college and it was out of 1600. May be two years ago.

there is no fun in that though
Believe me, not true. Smiling confidently while everyone is buzzing around like a blue-arsed fly wondering what to do is a lot of fun.

Don't know anyone that's ever gotten one that low. Mine was much higher.
I used to know a guy that got a 7 on his ACT... out of 36 possible. That is the worst score I have heard in terms of aptitude tests.

:worried:

i got a three once on an exam. just so happens it happened after i told the teacher he was a dick when i went to talk to him about a project we were doing and he told the hole class that he should retire and sit on a park bench with the pigeons because the pigeons are smarter than us. so i put a bench from the campus infront of his office door and hung a bunch of battery operated pigeons that fly around in circles on the ceiling infront of his office. only 2 people out of 35 passed that class with a C.
