22g needles

Hey everyone,
Can I shoot with a 22g needle or is that going to be too painful? I'm drawing with an 18g and then plan on changing to the 22g, so it should be sharp, but it seems everyone recommends 23 or 25g needles. Any thoughts?

No problem bro, I always use 21G x 1.5" for quads and glutes. The only real reason for the preference of smaller pins by many is the reduced scar tissue build up.

I use 23's for everything...22's arent bad really. If its a spot with more scar tissue you may want a 25 or something though just so you dont have to hammer it in.

I've been using a 22 vet for two days now, there not near as sharp as terumo's. Fuck my butt cheek presses down an inch before it penetrates the skin

Moral of the story, never let friends borrow pins when they don't plan out their own cycle.

and just got a few 22g much easier on the ass

i use 22ga 1 1/2 for the ass. and 25ga 1 inch for quads, and 25ga 5/8 for every thig else.
