I'll see if I can bring my camcorder in the gym and then post the video.

awesome, my training partner did it for 26 at the end of his workout. hes weird though, hes the only guy i know who warms up with 225 for 20. then hell do 275x10, 315x5, then his heavy lifitng from there. his way of thinking is if i can do it for 20 then y not.. i guess thats the way to think. should we all start with 225, lol?

Dont you already start benching at that? I mean, it's only 225 and that's what I usually start with for my first set, then I jump into 275 and finish with that. All on flat bench.

Ill usually hit 225 for around 27 reps at the very end of my chest routine, which is anywhere from 11-18 sets of flat bench, most sets to failure. Even so, I only do it for 12 reps to warm up in the beginning. If I went all out and tried to break 30, Id sacrifice alot of my strength for the sets that mean the most. The same with 275. I can likely hit that 17-19 reps now and wouldnt want to take that set to failure in the very beginning. Id rather go for reps with 315 or save my energy for a one rep max. If I get a PR with 225 its usually on my 11th-14th set of flat benching. I used to take my warm-up sets to failure and have hit PR's that way also. But now Im focusing on the heavier weights for PR's. 315 and over.

Grab the camcorder, cuz I wanna see you do 275 at least 15times.

He's a 400lb 1-rep bencher. That would put his 225 reps at 26 and his number of 275 reps at 15 -- that sounds right.

I'm still stuck at 305 for 6 atm ><

jeezus fuck
275 nineteen times?

you guys put up some big numbers
i get tired thinking of moving the bar 20 times, lol

Always good to get requests! ThanX! At best I just have pics now which never show much. Ive wanted to get some video up for a while now. I got the camera recently, borrowing it, then didnt have the charger. So now I have to wait until I get that before I can record some routines. Ill also have to sneak it in to record the footage. If I made a bench video Id probabally record a rep routine. Where the peak might be 315x12 if I took the footage now. Or I could focus on a one rep max and then rep out on the way back down. Not sure how Id do it. The first thing Ill try to get is likely a back routine since its easier to record at the gyms I train back at. The one gym I train chest at can be more difficult. Hopefully my back holds out in the coming weeks so I can continue to push training hard.

haha thanX brother!! 275x17 is my best, but I just hit a 2 rep increase in strength on the bench. Going from 315x10 to 315x12. Whenever that happens all the lower weights go up 2 reps also. Seems to always workout that way. Inclines also increase. The higher weights like 3 rep maxes and things like that might only increase slightly. So I should be somewhere around 275x19. Its been a while since I tried to rep 275 to failure, and Ive gained some strength and size since then. ThanX again!!

:FRlol: :FRlol: ThanX brother!! Ive been wanting to get a back routine on video for months now. The demand on the boards is good for it, so Ill definately post the footage up when I finally get it. Id even post the shit up if no one showed any interest. haha Its good to see though. It doesnt look like its going to be real soon, but Im still working on it. Also my training is unpredictable at the moment with these back problems. I skipped back training this week, and all I did was cardio, calves and abs. Nothing else. Until thursday where Ill hit chest. By the time I get the charger for the camera, hopefully Ill be able to get a good routine recorded. ThanX again!!
