20 minute leg workout?

just curious what you guys would do w/only 20 minutes to train lower body.

I was short on time yesterday so heres what i did-

squats-

15 x 95 (warm-up reps)
10x 145
10x 155
8 x 165
8x 175

Lunges-
15 x 45 for 5 sets. (30 second rest bet sets).

Deadlifts-
15x 135 (warm-up but i didnt really need it)
10x 155
8 x 165
6x 175
4x 195

i didnt want to go too heavy on the squats because i needed to save it for the deadlifts.... anyway- finished in 20 minutes!

any other short leg training routines you guys like? thanks :heart:
 
High rep squats kill me in about 3 minutes time.

I've often supersetted my box squats with deadlifts. Going straight back to back to back till I couldn't anymore. Works great!

btw- how do you still have time to train when your changing diapers?? lol...j/k

My wife is a Saint...amazing mother! I just grin and do the best that I can. Owning a shop and a consulting business gives me a lot of flexibility and I'm able to make a lot of deliveries on the days that I GO and train. A lot of my clients drive by my gym on their way to my shop...so they prefer to call their order in and meet me either at the gym or at the beach (when it is warmer).

I sure could use some sleep though!
 
I like the Litvinov workout- named after the Soviet Olympic hammer champion.

3 sets of front squats with a 400 meter run after each set.

This is the original workout. I change it up often as not using back squats or changing the distance. Some feel you can reduce the distance to 200 meters without reducing effectiveness.

I do 2-3 light sets of RDL or single leg curls after, as much to stretch out my legs as anything else. If you run faster than me you could probably also work calves. But that's it- I'm ready to go home.
 
FS: if you don't mind could you PM me where you get all that info on soviet style training?

Fuck that. He used 405 for the front squats. What a freak. Dan John fan?
