2 Questions for the ladies

1) Is it possible to have stretch marks from LOSING weight?? I have some on my lower back on upper thighs. I really kicked myself into great shape in the past year, and these are my only complaints. Are there any effective creams out there that fade or get rid of them competely?

2) I noticed that I really need more protein in my diet. Are there any shakes out there that are geared toward women? What shakes do you recommend?

1) The marks aren't from losing weight. They are from stretching the skin and you just don't see them until you lose the weight.

2) Protein and gender have nothing to do with eachother, and if a company leads you to believe that, they are playing you for a fool. They may add products designed for women, but protein is protein.
 
Congratulations to you for getting yourself in shape.

And yes Spatts is correct, you do not see the stretch marks oftentimes until you LOSE weight.

As far as creams, there are some that can HELP but time truly will make them fade. To assist, as your doctor or dermatologist about Mederma, Retin A, Renova, Differen or other retinoids which help the skin repair and exfoliate.

Keeping your skin moisturized will help alot and exfoliate with a good quality scrub but don't go over board.
