2 PR's (for reps)

Not big weight, but big in terms of my injury recovery:

Deadlifts:
200 for 5x5 (PR in terms of reps) - went up easy

Seated military press:
95 for 5x5 (PR in terms of weight and reps)

I am especially pleased with the mil press considering my rot cuff problems.

I didnt know you had a back injury, and a shoulder injury! What did you do to your back? Did it just happen?
I seem to remember you had a strong deadlift, sorry about your injury.

Thanks bro - no back injury. While the DL's don't bother my shoulder much, I still had to work back up to larger numbers because of the injury.

thanks bud. the injury was a rotator cuff tear. I think it happened when doing DB OHP. I was just starting to get into the game seriously, and I was dumb about my approach and it cost me. Problem was, it was misdiagnosed by 2 doctors who also gave me some bad advice ("stay out of the gym", which is not what I should have been doing). Finally said screw it and sought out a sports specialist who told me what I knew - get in the gym and strengthen that sucker. I am pretty much starting all over - as I said, I was just getting into it when I got injured, so I am a relative newbie. The best thing about the injury tho, is that I spent all my time reading about training/nutrition and learning fromthe good peeps on EF, that when I did get back into the gym, my mental strength was that of a veteran. Now my body just needs to catch up. :coffee:
