on monday i did rack pulls again, the bar at knee level, i pulled 545 for 1... it was hard... but i wanted it, i really like these, im goin to start to do them more often...

i just tried deads off a 4 inch box today, i pulled 365 for 1, it was moderate, i prolly could have done 385, but i really didnt wanna make it any harder. the bar was about 1 inch from me shoes, the lowest i could have gone..

anyone do deads off a box
 
I've pulled from a box (OK two stacked plates if ya wanna get technical :)) and I think that if I'd have kept my ego in check they'd have been great for me. But I tried to get heavy with 'em and compromised form. So just be careful with 'em and I bet they'll help a lot.

I agree with nate, i'm fine off the floor but stroke the bar in my mid thighs with maximal weight, it's all about finding your weakness, working on it and then finding your next weakness...
