2 nice pr's tonight. Today was supposed to be my off day, but I felt like trying this.
The first pr I will attribute to HST. I decided to max out on bench press tonight, so I figured I should check my power rack and make sure the pins would be able to catch the bar in case I failed. Well, it turns out that in about 2 months, my chest has gotten so much bigger that I needed to raise the bars. It wasn't even close. Which is cool, because when I set them initally, the bar actually touched a little bit when I brought it down.
The second pr, which you've probably guessed by now, is that I finally benched 200 lbs. I know this is nothing for most of you, but it was an important milestone for me. This is after about 1.5 years of training. I benched it bodybuilder style (elbows out, back flat on the bench, etc.), and it actually wasn't that bad. It went up pretty easy. I tried for 225, but that kicked my ass. I bet if I would have tried like 210, I would have gotten it. I was too excited, though.
The other cool thing is that I haven't trained flat bench in like 6 months. I've been concentrating on incline and other things.
Anyways, sorry this is so long, but I'm pretty excited right now.
