1st injection in 3 years (ouch)

I stuck myself last night for the first time in 3 years with 1cc of test and 1cc of Eq (22.5x1.5) mixed. I forgot to get all the air out of the needle and god it hurts. I was told to stick it from the hip bone 1 inch down and 1 inch in. (wrong) So I have some questions.

Is it ok to mix these 2??
Did the little air make it hurt worse?
What is the quickest place to inject???

Yeah it is okay to mix the two. They are both oil bases injectables. Don't worry about trying to get all the air out of the syringe. I purposely leave about .2 or .3 cc's of air in the syringe to help push out everything that is in there. I don't want to waste any. Plus thing about this real quick, when you aspirate you see air bubbles come into the syringe right, why would it hurt to put back what is already in there and a little. Trust me you will be fine.

What is the quickest place to injext??? Well I have no idea what you are asking here?

Same boat here. I just injected for the first time in two years. The time of injectine didn't hurt, but the next day my thigh was badly suffering. I honestly prefer the thigh over the gluet/delt because it gives me better control of the needle and just feel more confident in the location of where to inject.
