1st cycle

1 - Age - 27
2 - Lifting History - just got back into the gym - played college soccer
3 - Height - 6'0"
4 - Weight - 289 lbs
5 - Estimated BF% - 25.2% (72.9 lbs of fat)
6 - Diet - Look Here
7 - Goals - lose at least 64lbs of fat in 12 months and bulk
8 - Proposed cycle
- Note: I have joint pain in my left knee, so much so that I can not squat, which is causing me much frusturation.
- Physical Therapist said that once my knees were strenghtened I should have no pain

Cycle:
- Deca 100mg 2x/week for 10 weeks
- AIFM

Suggestions are welcome and needed.
Also if anyone has any idea of how much this will cost me that would be great.
 
unless you really dislike sex, i'd not run that cycle..

test 500mg/wk
deca 400mg/wk
AIFM

Though this is your first cycle... maybe drop the test, and get some Cissus.. i've been hearing REALLLLLLLLy great things about relieving joint/tendon pain after just a few weeks.. might want to consider it.

You shouldn't do a cycle just now for the following reasons:
1) Your bf % is too high; it should be atmost 12% if u would like to see your muscle gains

2) You said you just got back into the gym; You should be training for at least 3-5 years (non-stop) so that you can reach your max potential.

So right now if u have a good diet plan and a good training program that includes lots of cardio that's all u need.

Cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is a great way to lose fat quickly.

Try the ECA (Ephedrine, Caffiene, Asprin) stack it would speed up your metabolism so that u can lose fat faster

A diet plan with high protein and low Carbs & fats is beneficial
 
and a deca only cycle? you need to do a LOT of reading/researching/asking questions bro

i recommend you get on a diet and get down to 15% bodyfat before you even worry about steroids
 
OK thanks for all your input...I feel like a goof now, but hey at least I asked.
I will stick to the Diet & Bodybuilding/Weight Training and Weight Lifiting forums until I am down in body fat.

Yes I want to loose bodyfat and bulk in the muscle category......

Would HGH be better for what I want to do?

bro, its good to ask questions first off.

second, you do NOT need HGH bro. hgh used to be mainly for advanced bodybuilders but since people here it helps with fat loss they think they can take it and not diet and not do cardio. you should check out the af store and get you some glucorell R, some sesapure, maybe research a clen cycle and just work on getting the bodyfat down

exactly what the good bros have said.... drop the fat first, THEN consider AAS... if it's first cycle, go with test only... then add the deca in later cycles... in the meantime, one thing you can do for your joints is try Aflutop... I'm in the middle of a 21 day regimen and it's doing a real nice job for my shoulders and knees (torn ligaments, knee surgery)....couldn't hurt to take glucosamine/chondroitin long-term either
