1st Cycle

Hello all. I'm looking for some constructive criticism with my choice for a first cycle.

I am 25, 6'4", 215, 18% bf, and I have been lifting regularly for 3+ years. I keep a weekly food journal (I cheat on the weekends so I don't bother keeping track then) and have my diet pretty well tweaked. I consume around 3500 cal a day, and 250g protein. I am a big believer in MRP's and religiously take two a day with 1% milk (16 oz each time) including flax seed oil every morning. I'm on a Usana twice-daily vitamin program as well.
I have been researching AS for a while now and think I have nailed down a pretty good first cycle. My intent is to keep it simple while still maximizing my gains. Here it is:
week 1-10 400mg Deca-Durabolin
week 4-10 20mg/ed Dianabol
and I plan on keeping Liquidex on hand for gyno problems.

My question for the lot of you is what are your thoughts on my 1st cycle and what/why would you change anything??? Also, with the liquidex when should I start taking it, or should I only use it IF I see any signs of gyno. I'm more willing to take it from the get-go as gyno scares the shit out of me... I'm all about the tits bros, just not on me... As much fun as it sounds having them around 24/7 to play with, I'm afraid I'll have to sit it out...

Any help and advice is greatly welcomed. Thanks for your time.

I shy away from deca. I've never used it, but some people are very sensitive to gyno when using even small amounts of deca. I hate how long it stays in your system. Seeking deca like results, EQ would be my choice. EQ is unlikely to be responsible for any gyno type symptoms. IMO, d-bol makes a logical stack with EQ.

For a ten weeker as you outlined, I'd be apt to run the d-bol at the start of the cycle.

Use the liquidex at .5 mg every day or 1 mg every other day and I think you'll be just fine. Start the dex about a week before your first dose of d-bol.


If you're going to do this cycle, be DEDICATED to your training and diet. Also, if you've got your diet figured for your weight, you might try isolating your calorie level on this cycle. That is, don't bump your cals up - keep them at your maintanace level. When it's all said and done, you will likely see a very positive body composition change.

Just run one compound for your first cycle. Run test enth or cyp at 250-400 mg pre week for 10 weeks. No needto start stacking yet. You need to find out how your body reacts to gear before you start mixing chemicals. Still a good idea to have nolva on hand in case gyno flares up. You can run liquidex if you are really worried about gyno or just want to keepo the bloat down.
 
Personally I like Test, dbol for a good cycle.....however you can certainly use the deca instead of test......it may shut you down harder and you might get more sides from using the deca but 400mg is a good amount. As far as the dbol goes, don't use it from weeks 4-10......If your going to use it, it's more effective from weeks 1-4 or 5.....to give you the kickstart until the deca kicks in.

Good advise. I usually recomend sticking to one drug on a first cycle to see how one reacts - before confounding the exercise with multiple drugs.

Climber406, this is a good idea. A simple test cycle will allow you to assess AAS on you.
 
I agree with the 2 guys above. Use test only for your first and see what results you get. You will be very surprised. Also, I wouldn't use over 250mgs but if you want to use more, dont go over 400mgs, just like they said. Use d-bol for your 4th or 5th cycle. Use test and eq for 2 and 3. Bam
 
I would scratch the deca and hit EQ instead like bumpo said. and i would hit that dbol at the start of your cycle, 4 weeks or so.
 
One thing I am worried about with the Test enth is the occurance of extra bodyfat storage.... at 18% I don't want to tack on an extra few percentage points... I agree with not stacking, too much too soon. Although if there is something mild I can add to the Test enth to keep the body fat where it is at or even lower it, someone let me know!! Also, the more I read about the EQ the more I like, most notably the lack of gyno. the price is a bit rough, but you get what you pay for. I'm cool with that. Also no bloating is a perk, which leads to a greater chance of keeping the gains after the cycle... Any thoughts either yea or nay about these ideas?

The type of juice you use has nothing to do w/ the breakdown of fat/muscle gains on your cycle. Diet on the other hand has EVERYTHING to do with the leaness of your gains. So w/ 18%BF, you should (or need to become) WELL-VERSED in the diet guidelines before you start this cycle.

Eat clean, gain clean...that's pretty simplified...I'd check the diet board before you start your cycle.
 
I almost forgot...

Honestly, I know you're excited about your first cycle...but if I were you, I would hold off until the bf% comes down. You can use clen/ECA cycle w/ a good diet and get down below 10% in 2-3 months. Just some friendly advice...
